مادیان اسب فریسن (Friesian Mare)

اسب فریسن نژادی از اسب است که از فریزلند هلند ریشه گرفته. گرچه فم این نژاد شبیه یک اسب باری است، برای جثه خود اسبی سچالاک و سریع هستند. باور بر این است که در قرون طول وسطی، نیاکان اسبهای فریسن برای جنگهای میان قاره ای اروپا بسیار مورد تقاضا بوده اند.

The Friesian (also Frizian) is a horse breed originating in Friesland, in the Netherlands. Although the conformation of the breed resembles that of a light draught horse, Friesians are graceful and nimble for their size. It is believed that during the Middle Ages, ancestors of Friesian horses were in great demand as war horses throughout continental Europe.
